“I have always enjoyed cooking and, I must say, I’m pretty good at it! When the opportunity arose to start my own food truck, I jumped at it. Along with a mechanic buddy of mine, we flew out to Portland, Oregon to test out a truck that I had found for sale. Everything looked good so we hopped in the cab and began the 1700+ mile trek from the great Northwest all the way to Minneapolis! Uninteresting sidenote – Montana is the longest state to drive through!
After making it back home, I quickly realized that knowing how to cook was not enough – it was time to start swinging some hammers. I became a novice plumber, electrician, mechanic, buyer, designer and virtually anything else needed to make this dream reality. The entrepreneurial spirit guided me through the tough times of slow sales, things breaking constantly, and perpetually finding ways to increase efficiency while keeping the food delicious.
Fast forward 5 years and I’m proud to say we have a solid team in place, solid partnerships with local businesses, and rave reviews from our customers! This has been a dream come true for me and my family – thanks to all for your continued support!”
